Certain medications can thin the blood which increases the chance of bleeding. These medications need to be stopped for several days before the procedure.
Pain Medications: These should be stopped 5 – 7 days prior to your procedure

Heart Medications: These medicines must be stopped several days before your procedure. However, stop these medications only after discussion with the doctor. Examples include:
